Species checklist

The list of all 4,249 species, with their names, family and range, comes from The Reptile Database (Uetz et al., version 2026-06, doi:10.48580/d37s) via the Catalogue of Life (COL26.9), both under CC BY 4.0. Ranges are quoted as published, and each species links to its source page.

Try “krait”, “cobra” or Naja. Typos are fine.
